Revolution Shakespeare

Suit the action to the word, the word to the action

Revolution Shakespeare, based in Philadelphia, PA, invites audiences to experience the variety and vitality of Shakespeare's works with bold and honest productions at little to no cost for patrons.

"To fast, to study, and to see no woman", swear the men in Shakespeare's romantic comedy of wordplay, puns, and relationship fireworks. Set in King Ferdinand of Navarre's park, Love's Labour's Lost is perfect for beautiful Hawthorne Park. This production will feature live music in the Americana vein of Emmylou Harris, Nickel Creek & Bruce Springsteen, composed by local musician/theater artist Melissa Dunphy, and performed by the cast. Arrive early with picnic in tow or grab food truck fare inspired by the show, and sit back, relax & enjoy RevShakes' second full production of FREE fall Shakespeare!
